Synopsis

An hour length dance performance for 5 dancers and 2 musicians performed at the St James Theatre in Auckland.

Concept Outline

The Nature of Wishing centers on the life of a female magician. We see her through the hour it takes to prepare for the final show of her career. The present time collides with her memories as she looks back to her wishes: promised, gained, abandoned and lost.
